Tabletop Display
For people that use tradeshows for marketing, a number of different options exist for display. In addition to banners and banner stands, tabletop displays are also impressive. However, the goal is to create a display that will look professional, organized, and offer the most effective means of showing off materials, samples, and product. If the table is cluttered, potential customers will think that company does not take the business seriously, meaning they turn and walk away.
An impressive tabletop display must be eye-catching. Even to customers from across the room, the display should be colorful, print large enough to see, and the overall look professional. The goal is to let every person, existing customers, potential customers, and even other vendors know that the business is the most important thing. With a well-organized display, this is exactly what would be accomplished.
One way to create an effective tabletop display is by customizing the look to the company. People need to remember that creativity is welcomed and the more unique the booth the more people will be interested. Some of the ways in which a tabletop display could be setup include:
- Booth - The display should be based on objectives. In other words, if products and/or services were being sold, the objective would be strong marketing. If the goal of the tradeshow were to collect sales leads, then the objective would be more for networking. However, if the objective were to give demonstrations on a new product, the display should include a finished product, as well as all the necessary tools and resources.
- Signage - For any tradeshow, signage is crucial. In this case, the tabletop display could have smaller signs coupled with larger banners on banner stands in the background. That way, people are being marketed both near and far. Every sign used should be professionally designed, worded appropriately, carefully proofed and edited, colorful, and large enough to be seen.
- Graphics - Another way to enhance the appearance of a tabletop display at a trade show is with graphics. In this case, choose quality graphics that have been created by a professional, not just stick figures downloaded and printed off the computer. People pay attention to the details so while graphics can be very powerful, they must be artistic and professional.
Some people will also use a tabletop display for displaying business cards and brochures. Then to make a lasting impression, some individuals will also put out snacks and beverages. All of these things considered, there is a right and wrong way to set up a tabletop display. When done right, people will make their way to the booth to learn more about a company's products and/or services but when done wrong, the booth will be passed by.
